Luis Suarez has been in brilliant form for Liverpool this season, scoring 31 goals, winning the Professional Footballers’ Association Players’ Player of the Year, Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year, Barclays Premier League Player of the Year, Barclays Premier League Golden boot Winner and European Golden Boot award. This will be a big blow for Uruguay who are highly dependent on attacking duo Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.
Uruguay are placed in the group of death with England, Costa Rica, and Italy, they will be certainly hoping Suarez plays a big part to help them qualify for the knockout rounds.
