Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a move for his former player Ivan Perisic.
The Croatia winger played under Klopp at Dortmund, but the German moving for him seems unlikely.
Perisic fell out with Klopp during his time at Dortmund and criticised the German of favoring other players over him. Klopp responded with public criticism and the club fined the player as well.
Perisic has been very impressive in the Euros so far and put on a scintillating display against Spain earlier.
Apparently, Klopp is interested in re-signing the Croatian international but Inter Milan are not looking to sell. Barcelona are also interested in his services.
In other news, Arsenal are now leading the chase for the highly talented German midfielder Mario Gotze.
The Bayern Munich star was linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, but he chose to turn it down and wants to see out his contract at Allianz Arena.
According to MundoDeportivo, Bayern are keen on selling the player this summer so they can get some money for him. His contract expires next summer and he would leave as a free agent if he stays this season.
Arsenal are thought to be leading the chase for the German international.
Gotze’s future should be sorted after the Euros and it seems that Liverpool have moved on from him. Klopp is looking to finalise a move for Sadio Mane now.
