Chelsea transfer: Juventus looking to sign him on loan

Juventus are moving quickly to take Chelsea misfit Juan Cuadrado back to Italy this summer, albeit on a season-long loan.

Cuadrado joined Chelsea in the January transfer window from Fiorentina, but the Colombian has failed to impress under Jose Mourinho. And he is likely to drop down the pecking orders at the club, following the arrival of Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported last night that Cuadrado’s agent is expected to be in London on Sunday to hold talks with Chelsea over a possible loan move for his client.

We have a latest update on the Cuadrado situation. Again, the ever-reliable Di Marzio is reporting that Bianconeri are ready to make a 1.5m offer to sign the winger on loan, with no obligation to buy permanently at the end of the season.

Chelsea have accepted the terms proposed by the player’s agent, Alessando Lucci. Juventus are confident of wrapping up the deal quickly so that they can turn their attention on bolstering other areas of the pitch.

The Serie A champions are looking to sign a midfielder, preferably a defensive midfielder, and are interested in Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Ramires, as per The Sunday Times

Meanwhile, Chelsea are plotting an audacious move to sign French midfielder Paul Pogba. The Blues have reportedly lodged a formal bid for the highly rated midfielder, but their 75m offer has been rebuffed.
