The Grand National fences are in use earlier than normal on Merseyside with the Grand Sefton Chase (2:15) taking place. Aintree’s supporting card sees ITV Racing tipsters open up with a tricky Pertemps Qualifier (1:08) and the 2m 4f Betway Hurdle later on (3:20).
Opposing views in November Handicap, Elite Hurdle & Badger Beer
At Doncaster, meanwhile, this is the final day of the British Flat turf season. Headlining the horse racing there is the 1m 4f November Handicap (2:40). That has a typically wide-open feel to it, so ITV Racing tipsters like Ruby Walsh must be brave. The Listed 6f Wentworth Stakes (2:05) is another event broadcast live from Town Moor.
This is one of Wincanton’s biggest days. Not only is there the Listed 3m 1f Badger Beers Handicap Chase (3:00) at the Somerset track on this card, but the Grade 2 Elite Hurdle afterwards (3:35) as well. They are just the last two races from Wincanton following on from the 2m 5f Richard Barber Memorial Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (2:25).

Nicholls’ Rising Star the best bet of ITV Racing tipsters
There isn’t a lot of consensus among the ITV Racing tips for 6 November, but the one exception is Bravemansgame in the 2m 4f Grade Rising Star Novices’ Chase at Wincanton (1:50). One of the top novice hurdlers in the UK last season, champion trainer Paul Nicholls has high hopes for this horse and so do the ITV Racing tipsters here.
Bravemansgame is in all the horses to follow literature for the core jumps season. However, his short odds on horse racing betting sites reflect the hype surrounding him. A faultless display of jumping on his chase debut at Newton Abbot, another West Country track, punched his ticket to this.
The runner-up, Fusil Raffles, has since landed the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby at this level too, so it’s easy to see why Bravemansgame is all the rage.
