There is another massive Saturday of horse racing from Ascot and Haydock, so of course ITV Racing tips from your favourite pundits are available. What do big names in the sport of kings fancy? SportsLens has a neat summary for all seven terrestrial races broadcast on ITV on 20 November.
It is 1965 Chase and Coral Hurdle day at Ascot. While some of the field sizes are small, that probably helps the ITV Racing tipsters with their quest for winners. Three races, also including the Hurst Park Handicap Chase, are part of Saturday’s TV coverage from the Berkshire track.
Up at Haydock Park on Merseyside, meanwhile, it’s the Betfair Chase card with the first Grade 1 of the British jumps season taking centre stage there. The other four races, including the Grade 3 Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle won in recent years by Sam Spinner and Paisley Park, are also on the latest terrestrial broadcast.
Frank Hickey tips alongside your favourite pundits
Joining regular pundits in giving ITV Racing tips here is Frank Hickey. A chief trader at Paddy Power, check out if his fancies match Matt Chapman tips and picks from former top jockey Mick Fitzgerald. Both he and Hickey agree on a couple of fancies.
The pair can’t see past Bravemansgame in the opening race on ITV Racing on 20 November, the Betfair Graduation Chase (1:50). Fitzgerald and Hickey also like Bass Rock each way with horse racing betting sites in the 3m Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle (2:25).
Hickey also agrees with Chapman on the claims of Lostintranslation for the 1965 Chase (2:05). Both of them fancy Strictlyadancer in the final event at Haydock on Saturday, another Betfair sponsored handicap chase over an extended 3m 1f (3:35) as well. The table below has the list of ITV Racing tips for 20 November in full:

Buzz the NAP for ITV Racing tipsters this Saturday
While the insiders all like something different for the Betfair Chase (3:00), Chapman, Fitzy and Hickey agree on one thing. They all say Buzz will win the 2m 3f Coral Hurdle at Ascot (2:40). ITV Racing tipsters feel the Cesarewitch Handicap winner, who comes back over obstacles after plundering that valuable prize on the Flat, can lay a marker down here.
Buzz has Stayers’ Hurdle aspirations at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival. Winning the Coral Hurdle would bring him a step closer to realising them. Nicky Henderson has his horse fit from that earlier autumn run and three previous wins in the race. It’s no wonder ITV Racing tips are unanimous in their support of Buzz, then.
Both Chapman and Fitzgerald like Before Midnight for the Hurst Park Handicap Chase later on Ascot (3:15). There’s a swing in the weights with Sky Pirate from their Cheltenham encounter, but the ITV Racing tipsters feel confident that Sam Thomas’s improving horse can go in again. The NAP among the experts is Buzz, though!
