Inter Milan are expected to be one of the busy-bodies in summer, as the Italian giants are keen to sign several top players in order mount a strong challenge for the Scudetto next season.

Javier-Hernandez

Their transfer policy is simple under new owner Erick Thohir. Inter currently are not in a position to do marquee signings, spending ridiculous bucks. What they can do is spend money wisely on good players, who are young talents with a good re-sale value or are established stars but struggling to get games at their parent clubs. Take the examples of Fernando Torres and Edin Dzeko for instance.

Inter are keen to land either of the two strikers or both of them. Chelsea will be looking to sign top strikers like Diego Costa, which could pave way for Torres to ply trade elsewhere. Likewise, the Nerazzurri have targeted Bosnian striker Dzeko has well, who collected his second Premier League medal with Manchester City.

Pink pages of Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter will go for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, should they fail to sign either of Torres or Dzeko.

The Mexican has become a fringe player at Old Trafford and may not fit in to the plans of would-be-new manager Louis van Gaal.

The idea to go for Hernandez makes sense. Chicharito will get regular games at Inter while his wages won’t be a problem too.
