The 26-year-old forward was signed from La Liga outfit Celta Vigo in the summer, and although he has yet to score in his three league matches, the striker has so-far left a good impression to the Red fans.

Aspas, who reportedly cancelled his holiday to seal the move, says he would recommend other Spanish players to come to England and experience the charm of the English league. He further added that he is very happy at Anfield, especially because the Reds are the league leaders at the moment.

He said as quoted in the Spanish press 20minutes.es: “It’s for the first time, I’ve left the home.  So naturally it gets a little hard. But things are going well, especially because we are leading the league. It’s only been three games though, and it’s a very long competition.”

Aspas is also looking adapt quickly to the physical nature of the league and understands the difference with Spanish league, which is more technical. However, he was quick to dismiss the degree of comparison between the two leagues, saying it would be difficult for him to judge at this point, having played only three games and without visiting the other grounds.

The striker also feels that playing regularly for Liverpool will present him a better opportunity to catch the attention of Spanish national coach Vicente del Bosque. If the Spanish forward can continue his sparkling performances for the Reds it will mark an handsome return for the investment made on him.
