SportsLens experts make Fantastikas their horse racing NAP of the Day for Tuesday, 16 November. He appeals on his debut over fences in the extended 2m 7f intermediate handicap chase at Lingfield today. This horse is the best Bet of the Day at 15/8 for many reasons.

Trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, Fantastikas represents an in-form stable. He also looks bred for chasing and ran consistently well over hurdles last season. A six-year-old gelding by Davidoff, our NAP of the Day for 16 November has stamina in his German pedigree too. Learn all about the latest best Bet of the Day in more detail below…

Why will NAP of the Day Fantastikas win?
Twiston-Davies has eight winners from 25 runners in the last 10 days coming into Tuesday, so the yard has a strong 32 per cent strike rate. Fantastikas built on placing in two bumpers by hitting the frame on all five hurdles outings last term. In the first of those at Stratford, he chased home Witness Protection and the winner has since made up into a chaser.
Fantastikas then filled the same spot behind Barbados Buck’s at Southwell, who went on to complete a hurdles hat-trick next time out. The front two pulled 18 lengths and upwards clear of the remainder. Again, Fantastikas was the bridesmaid in a Cheltenham trial at Musselburgh when runner-up to Threeunderthrufive. They were 15 lengths clear of anything else.
This looks particularly strong form as the winner went on to Listed success at Perth, and has scored on two of his three outings over fences so far. Fantasitkas finally got his head in front at Fontwell, but then carried a welter burden of 11st 10lb on his handicap debut at Market Rasen. He still ran a respectable third, conceding 10lb to the winner that day.
Twiston-Davies and owners the Imperial Racing Partnership bought Fantastikas for chasing. He appeals as the type to leave his hurdles form well behind over fences. A £25 punt on Fantastikas returns almost £72 at his current price. Should he fail to make a successful chase bow, then QuinnBet refunds the losing stake as a free bet.
