Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has repeatedly been linked with a move to Manchester City this summer.

However, Tottenham chief Daniel Levy is not keen on selling the 28-year-old and Kane has now accepted that he will have to continue with the London club this season.

He posted a message on social media claiming that he is overwhelmed with the support he has received from Spurs supporters.

The England captain is one of the best players around Europe and losing him would have severely weakened Tottenham’s attack.

The Londoners have had an impressive transfer window, boosting Nuno Espirito Santo’s hopes of guiding them back into the top four.

Kane’s decision to stay at Spurs may persuade some of their remaining transfer targets to join the club this summer.

Weston McKennie, Jules Kounde, Adama Traore and Nahitan Nadnez are amongst the players linked with Spurs in the past few days.

Kane’s decision to stay at Tottenham will come as a massive boost to the club and the fanbase can now look forward to an exciting season.

Here is how some Tottenham fans reacted to Kane’s post on Twitter.
