Ambitious Bundesliga side Hamburger SV have turned their attentions to on-loan Palmeiras forward Vagner Love in their search for attacking reinforcements, according to a report in Hamburger Morgenpost.
The Rothosen are in the market for a new attacker due to the lengthy injury absence of Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero and head coach Bruno Labbadia seemingly sees Vagner Love as the perfect candidate.
The Brazilian striker is still under contract with Champions League hopefuls CSKA Moscow and will return to Russia at the end of his current loan deal. However, the Moscow side appear to be keen to cash in on Vagner Love.
Stuttgart were also keen on bringing the 25-year-old striker to Germany last summer, but a transfer never materialised due to CSKA’s hefty asking price.
