liverpool-237Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed that he will be fit for the Reds’ next league clash against Crystal Palace.

The England international was on the sidelines after picking up multiple injuries over the last three months. He suffered a thigh injury during the training while on international duty in September.

The former Chelsea striker was set to return to Liverpool’s trip to Loftus Road to face Queens Park Rangers in October. However, he once again was out of action a calf injury and was ruled out for further more weeks.

Brendan Rodgers’ side head into the international break after suffering a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday. They next face Palace on November 23 and Sturridge has declared himself fit for the clash against Neil Warnock’s side.

“I’ll be ready for that one, God willing. It’s the worst feeling to be honest but that’s football. Everyone picks injuries up,” Sturridge told BT Sport.

Liverpool star has not included in England’s European Championship qualifier against Slovenia and Scotland. The Three Lions manager Roy Hodgson says he has not had a dialogue with Rodgers over a possibility of including Sturridge in the squad.

“No not at the moment but I have it in mind to do so of course. I was waiting to see what the situation would be with him (Sturridge),” Hodgson told Sky Sports.

“It’s very good news to hear that he’s travelled but of course before I select him again I would check with the player and the club that we were doing the right thing.”

With Sturridge back for Palace clash, Rodgers will have the leverage to play him alongside summer signing Mario Balotelli as the two strikers to lead Liverpool’s attacking lineup.
