Liverpool defender Glen Johnson admits that he is considering offers from other clubs as he prepares to leave Anfield next summer.
The 30-year-old, who earns a reported wage of £120,000-a-week, confirms that there has been no fresh talks over his extension.
“There’s no update. There have been no talks,” he said to Liverpool Echo.
“At this point I have no idea (where I will be next season). I haven’t thought about it.
“I’ve got two months left here and we will see what happens after that. I’m just going to keep my head down and keep training.”
Johnson however is reluctant of going abroad but hasn’t ruled out that possibility yet.
Brendan Rodgers wanted the right full back to stay but his situation is complicated for being one of the club’s highest earners and his dwindling role at Anfield.
With Johnson’s appearance now getting limited (FA Cup stalemate with Rovers was his first start since January) it seems like his days at Anfield is nearing end.
