There’s an early start at Lingfield, while Dundalk is a regular weekly fixture at this time over year in Ireland. Chelmsford City completes the horse racing live streaming options out there today. More now on the highlights from Newbury:
Live Stream Friday’s Horse Racing – What’s On
Expect to see good horses from start to finish at the Winter Carnival. The meeting’s opening novice hurdle over an extended 2m 4f (12:10) sees Stage Star out to defy a penalty and follow-up on his Chepstow win. Royal runner Kincardine for Nicky Henderson may be the main danger to Paul Nicholls’ charge.
The Grade 2 Berkshire Novices’ Chase (12:40) should a cracker. This 2m 4f race is one big reason why live horse racing streaming is worth a look today. Millers Bank won well enough on his debut over fences but owes his lofty rating to a fine third in the Aintree Hurdle for Alex Hales. Gary Moore’s Nassalam, meanwhile, receives weight for age all-round.
Nicholls runs the talented Pic D’Orhy here with Tom Lacey’s Listed scorer Tea Clipper completing the line-up with a penalty. The latter breezed to success at Chepstow, yet is worst off at the weights on these terms. Even the top horse racing betting sites don’t know where to be with their markets here, so enjoy this absorbing contest.
On paper, the 2m maiden hurdle (1:15) looks a match between Jonbon, an expensive and beautifully bred JP McManus purchase, and Good Risk At All. Both horses won bumpers at Newbury earlier this spring, so something’s got to give. Nicky Henderson’s brother to Douvan is the shorter price of the pair.
Long Distance Hurdle a Live Horse Racing Streaming Highlight Today
An informative 2m novices’ limited handicap chase for the Fulke Walwyn Trophy (1:50) makes horse racing live streaming interesting too. Boothill has always looked like am embryonic chaser, so tries fences for the first time here for Harry Fry. Mister Coffey makes his return to action for Henderson, while Nicholls saddles top weight Solo. Moore’s Fifty Ball was runner-up in the Betfair Hurdle here in February too.
Now to the feature contest, the 3m Grade 2 Long Distance Hurdle (3:00) where Paisley Park runs in first-time cheekpieces. Emma Lavelle hopes they will have the desired effect on her stable star. There is plenty of opposition, however, most notably from a couple of mares. Indefatigable got the better of Paisley Park at Wetherby last time out.
Mrs Milner, meanwhile, won the Pertemps Final at the Cheltenham Festival in March and looked as good as ever when winning a Listed race for mares in Ireland this autumn. Thomas Darby, Lisnagar Oscar and On The Blind Side are all very smart hurdlers on their day too, so this big race shouldn’t disappoint.
