Liverpool and Tottenham move into the Round of 32 of the Europa League by finishing as toppers from their respective groups.
Erik Lamela scored a first-half hat-trick in a thumping 4-1 victory over Monaco at White Hart Lane to take Spurs into the next round.
Liverpool’s fate had already been decided before their trip to Sion, but Jurgen Klopp’s men topped Group B, following their goalless draw in Switzerland.
As a result, we have three Premier League clubs contesting in the knockout rounds of the Europa League, with Manchester United joining Spurs and Liverpool, after the Red Devils were knocked out from the Champions League group stages.
The Premier League clubs will discover their fate on Monday when the draws will be made, but before that let us take a look at who they can meet in the next round.
Liverpool
The Reds are likely to avoid the fourth seeded teams that dropped out of the Champions League – Porto, Olympiakos, Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United. However, Liverpool can face Spanish clubs like Sevilla and Valencia, while could also meet other unseeded teams Galatasaray and Shakhtar Donetsk.
There is no chance that Liverpool will face either of Manchester United or Spurs, as clubs from the same country cannot face each other at this stage. But they can face each other in the last 16.
Liverpool could face a host of teams that finished second in the table. A tie with Borussia Dortmund could be a fascinating one where Jurgen Klopp be reunited with his former club.
Fiorentina, one of the challengers for the Serie A this season, could offer a tricky test for the Reds. Also, Villarreal, Marseille, and Sporting Lisbon could be interesting opponents.

Tottenham Hotspur
Mauricio Pochettino has vowed to take the competition seriously, as a place in the Champions League is on the offer, should they win the competition. In that case, even if they fail to qualify for the top-four places in the Premier League, it could still provide them with a route into Europe’s elite.
Like Liverpool, Spurs cannot be drawn against another English side and will also avoid the seeded Champions League teams as they finished top in Group J.

Manchester United
The Red Devils dropped out of the Champions League, following their embarrassing 3-2 defeat to German club Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.
However, all is not lost, as Louis van Gaal’s side can still end the season on a high, should they win the Europa League.
United, being one of the seeded teams, will avoid the likes of Porto, Olympiakos and Bayer Leverkusen but they can face other unseeded sides that dropped out of the Champions League – Sevilla, Valencia, Galatasaray and Shakhtar Donetsk.
