Manchester United have confirmed their striker Javier Hernandez has completed a loan switch to Real Madrid on Monday.
Earlier we confirmed that the Mexican international has arrived at the Spanish capital club to complete his medical before his season-long loan move to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The deal has a clause where the Champions League winners can make the transfer permanent after the end of this season.
“Manchester United striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has joined Real Madrid on loan for the rest of the 2014/15 season,” a statement read on United’s official website.
“The European champions announced they have “reserved a first buying option” on the Mexico frontman at the end of the loan.”
“Chicharito moved to Old Trafford from Chivas de Guadalajara in 2010 and has scored 59 goals in 154 appearances for the Reds, winning two Premier League titles,” it added.
