David Moyes has recently said in an interview with BBC that he is ready to come back to coaching after a disastrous spell last season with Manchester United. The 51 year old who was sacked after less than an year at Old Trafford said, “I am ready to return. I have enjoyed the time off but I have got to wait on the right job and make sure it’s one that I want.”

Moyes spent 11 fruitful years in charge of Everton but his spell with the Red Devils tarnished all the good work at Goodison Park. Moyes though wants to prove his critics wrong. “I’m really ambitious. I would never have left Everton for anybody but an ambitious football club. And I thought Manchester United would have given me that opportunity.”

“It didn’t materialise that way, so I am hoping that the next club I join gives me the chance to build a team, because I think that is what I am good at.”

It is believed that Moyes would prefer a return as a managerial role in the Premier League but is open for coaching options abroad. A headline in the trusted and reliable Gianluca Di Marzio website claims that the Scot has been in contact with many Italian clubs.

Moyes though wasn’t impressed at how United treated him. He said, “I believed they would have supported their coaches. Ferguson didn’t do well at the beginning. I lost a few games but I never thought they would have fired me.”

However he believes that Louis Van Gaal with his lots of experience can drive back United to where they belong. The Scot also feels that the Red Devils should give the Dutchman significant time to build his own team.
