Manchester United have confirmed Reece James has committed his future to the Red Devils on Thursday.
James’ contract details are not confirmed by the 20-times English champions, but the club have revealed that he has committed his future to the club.
“Reece James has extended his contract with Manchester United,” a statement on United’s official website read.
“The versatile left-back, who can also perform in midfield, scored twice against LA Galaxy on last summer’s first-team tour and made his competitive debut in the Capital One Cup against Milton Keynes Dons.”

James featured as a left wing-back under Louis van Gaal during United’s pre-season tour. He came up through the ranks of the club’s youth setup, before breaking it to the first team.
After the arrival of Luke Shaw and his return from injury, James has seen his first team opportunities being limited. This forced him to make a loan move to Rotherham United last November and returned to Old Trafford last month.
Since his return, James has been part of United U21 side and has been a regular inclusion in Warren Joyce’s squad. James become the second player to sign a new deal after Tyler Blackett also committed his future by signing a new deal today.
