Turkish side Besiktas have welcomed striker Demba Ba to the club, with the Senegalese hitman leaving Chelsea after two largely unproductive seasons at Stamford Bridge.
Ba, 29, has long been linked with a move away from West London, with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho clear in his opinion that the roster of strikers at the club were not up to standard last season. The Portuguese boss has now secured Spain attacker Diego Costa for £32m, paving the way for Ba to complete a move to Besiktas, for a reported fee of £8m.
