According to Belgian newspaper HLN the Belgian giants have an agreement with Chelsea to sign Marin on loan.
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea in 2012 from Werder Bremen, when he signed a five year deal with the Blues. However, he struggled to make any bright impression, and spent loan spells with Sevilla and Fiorentina.
Marin could only manage four Europa League games only for the Viola, that prompted the Italian club to reconsider their loan offer. Once dubbed as the ‘German Messi’ Marin’s progress went downhill, dwindling from one extreme to another.
He has certainly no future at Chelsea. The best he can do is make the full use of loan moves. He has the age in his side but with injuries now becoming his best ally, the chances of him fulfilling his potential is getting slim, day by day.
