Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is seriously considering leaving the Blues this summer. Antonio Conte, the new manager, is unconvinced by the midfielder’s quality and could be willing to sell at the right price.
According to reports from Catalan newspaper Sport, Fabregas is contemplating whether to leave the Blues and his preferred destination is Real Madrid.
Fabregas’s agent has already contacted Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to discuss the Spaniard’s potential move to the Spanish capital.
The former Barcelona FC midfielder was benched in Chelsea’s opening game against West Ham with Conte preferring the partnership of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic in the middle.
Serie A giants Juventus are also reportedly planning to sign the Chelsea midfielder as the Bianconeri looking to find an able replacement for Paul Pogba, who left for Manchester United for a world record transfer fee.
Will Fabregas fit into the Madrid system? Los Blancos already have players like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, both are excellent passers, and it won’t be easy for Fabregas to break into the Madrid starting XI.
