According to Catalan press Sport, Chelsea manager is preparing to make a move for Real Madrid goal keeper Diego Lopez in the next summer, while long servant of the club Peter Cech and veteran goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer would be allowed to leave.

Lopez became the first choice goal keeper under Mourinho at Real Madrid and the pair enjoys a good relationship. It is understood that Mourinho is not too convinced with the performances of Cech so far who has had an up and down season.

Further, there is Thibaut Courtois, who has spent three excellent seasons (including the current campaign) with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Mourinho has a long term plans with the Belgian goal keeper as well.

Lopez who is also enjoying a good season under new boss Carlo Ancelotti could be eager to jump the ship and rejoin his former manager, should such an opportunity arise. The report has been published in the Catalan press, while none of the Madrid based newspapers have covered it, so, at the moment, it is better not to give too much reactions to the story.
