Fiorentina are looking to seal a new contract for their Colombian star Juan Cuadrado.
The Viola are actually looking at new deals for a number of stars, including goalkeeper Neto, former Liverpool player Alberto Aquilani and Italian international Manuel Pasqual.
Juan Cuadrado has been promised a new deal since the summer when he was strongly linked with a move away from the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Barcelona and Manchester United were the front runners for the 26-year old winger after a great performance at the World Cup in Brazil. However, a deal could not be agreed and Cuadrado has remained in Italy for the time-being.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport are now claiming that Chelsea are interested in signing Cuadrado.
The newspaper claims that Fiorentina are looking to wrap up a new deal for their Colombian star before the January transfer window. He scored in their 3-0 thrashing against Internazionale before the international break – his first in four Serie A appearances to start the new season.
Fiorentina have picked up 10 points without conceding a single goal in the four games Cuadrado has played in the league this season. They have conceded three goals in the two games without him.
