Italian media Tuttomercartoweb published an Exclusive yesterday, where they claimed Premier League champions Chelsea were prepared to let Oscar leave the club to accommodate Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba in the team.

For the past couple of weeks, all the major newspapers in Italy were reporting that Juventus manager Masimilliano Allegri had made Chelsea midfieder Oscar his primary target for the summer transfer window.

Oscar-Chelsea

The Serie A champions are ready to pay €25m for Oscar while, Chelsea value him around €30-40m. Allegri is a big fan of Oscar and wants to use the Brazilian to play in the no 10 position for Juventus.

We get the idea that Juventus will be able to push through the deal, if and only they sell Pogba, who has been targeted by almost all the big clubs in Europe.

Catalan newspaper Sport reported yesterday that Real Madrid are keen to sign the French midfielder. Club president Florentino Perez has held meeting with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola and they’ve discussed about a possible transfer move.

Pogba has a reported market value of around €80-90m, and therefore despite strong interests from Chelsea, Manchester City or Manchester United (The Guardian reports that Pogba is LvG’s top priority in the summer transfer window) not a single club have come forward with a formal offer. Put it simply, clubs aren’t willing to pay that amount for the 22-year-old at the moment.

Sport also reports that Pogba wants to play in Spain rather than in England. Chelsea cannot pay his big transfer fee, plus his €12m per year wage demand is also a big hindrance to get the deal done.

TMW claim that Chelsea are preparing to sell Oscar to Juventus and could include him in a cash plus player swap deal to sign Pogba.

We leave it to the Chelsea fans here to discuss whether such transfer make sense or is it practically possible?
