Arsene Wenger confirms interest in Shkodran Mustafi
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the North London club are looking to complete a deal for the Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi.
The 24-year-old La Liga centre back has been a target for the Gunners all summer and is expected to replace the injured Per Mertesacker in the starting lineup.
Valencia are apparently open to selling the German this summer due to financial fair play issues and Arsenal are hoping to wrap up the deal soon.
Mustafi is valued at around 30 million pounds by the Spanish side.
Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado close to completing Juventus transfer
Chelsea are closing in on an agreement with Juventus for the Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado.
Cuadrado returned to Chelsea after a successful loan spell at Juventus last season and it appeared that Conte wants to give him another chance of proving himself in England.
However, the player is determined to leave the London club and Juventus have now made a concrete offer for the player.
Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that the Italian club are hoping to conclude the deal soon.
“I hope that over the next few days we can conclude the Cuadrado deal,” Marotta said.
“For now, he is a Chelsea player. We presented a proposal to them and are waiting for a response, but we are optimistic.”
Manchester United striker James Wilson joins Derby County on loan
Finally, Manchester United have sealed a loan agreement with Derby County for James Wilson.
The talented youth striker has struggled to break into the first team at Old Trafford and has been loaned out in order to gain some valuable first team experience.
Wilson impressed on loan at Brighton last season and will help Derby fight for promotion now.
So far the academy graduate has scored 4 goals in 20 appearances for the Red Devils.
The rise of Marcus Rashford has damaged his first team chances at Old Trafford for now and he will be hoping to use this opportunity to develop and come back as a better player next summer.
