Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed that Celtic are his favourite club in the Scottish Premiership, picking the Hoops over Rangers during a Q&A session on Twitter.

Boli Bolingoli, the cousin of the Belgium international hitman, joined Celtic from Rapid Vienna during the last summer transfer window, and it seems the love for the Hoops runs in the family following Lukaku’s admission that he prefers them to Rangers.

His choice sits well with Celtic fans, and some of them have reacted to it on Twitter thus:

Lukaku spent nine years in the UK playing for Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Manchester United in the English Premier League before leaving for Italy last summer for £73 million.

The 26-year-old is definitely aware of the rivalry between Celtic and Rangers, and it appears that the green and white half of Glasgow has left a huge impression on him.

Lukaku scored 113 Premier League goals in 252 appearances and has bagged 17 Serie A goals in 25 games for Inter, but could a move to Parkhead be on the cards in the future during the twilight of his career?
