Borussia Dortmund are willing to let four first team players leave this summer, reports German outlet Ruhr Nachrichten.

The Black and Yellows ended the season positively, finishing third in the Bundesliga and winning the DFB Pokal, while also reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They will be hoping to build on this next season.

However, this could be difficult, with many of their most valuable assets possibly on the move this summer. Star striker Erling Haaland is being eyed up by many of Europe’s top clubs, and may command a huge fee this summer.

Meanwhile, Ruhr Nachrichten reports that four other first team players could be on their way out of the Signal Iduna Park this summer, including some targeted by Premier League sides.

Jadon Sancho

The most valuable of these four is definitely England international Jadon Sancho.

The winger has been excellent since signing from Manchester City back in 2017. He has accumulated 38 goals and 45 assists during his time in the Bundesliga, winning himself 19 caps for England.

This summer, he could be set for a return to Manchester, but this time at Old Trafford. Man Utd tried to signing him last season, but refused to meet Borussia Dortmund’s asking price. One year on, and it’s been reported that the German side are willing to accept a lower fee.

Julian Brandt

Brandt has enjoyed an impressive spell at Borussia Dortmund, making 87 appearances and scoring 11 times in the last two seasons. He has also made 35 appearances for Germany, although he was left out of their Euro 2020 squad.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a transfer to Arsenal. With Martin Odegaard set to return to Real Madrid, Brandt would be a useful addition to the Gunners squad.

Nico Schulz

Unlike Sancho and Brandt, Nico Schulz has found regular game time hard to come by since arriving from Hoffenheim in 2019, with Portuguese full-back Raphael Guerrero nailing down the left-back spot. The German has started just 13 league games in the last two seasons.

Back in October, it was reported that Man Utd made a last ditch attempt to sign the 28-year-old. However, no deal was reached, and the Red Devils signed Alex Telles instead. With the form of Luke Shaw, it is unlikely that they’ll be back in for Schulz this time around.

Roman Burki

Roman Burki has been a regular for Borussia Dortmund since signing in 2015. However, the Swiss goalkeeper looks set to be on his way out, with compatriot Marwin Hitz taking the starting spot in 2021.

At 30 years of age and with just two years left on his contract, Burki may not have much value beyond the coming transfer window. The Black and Yellows could look to sell as soon as they can, with Monaco reportedly interested.
