Only four days back, Italian media were reporting that Chelsea are in the driving seat to sign the Cagliari midfielder. It could well happen that Chelsea didn’t shown enough interest while Bologna swooped in ahead of other interested parties.

Donsah, who made 23 appearances in all competitions, is a strong young talent but he doesn’t represent the right profile of player Mourinho is looking to sign at the moment.
