Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj will miss their upcoming Premier League fixture against Swansea City.
The Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal confirmed the Belgium international has picked up an injury in the midweek, which will force him to miss the next league clash against the Welsh club.
Januzaj started for the English side in their 4-0 victory over Club Brugge in the second leg of the Champions League play-off. However, he was replaced by Bastian Schweinsteiger and the Dutchman said the 20-year-old will United’s trip to the Liberty Stadium.
“Louis van Gaal has been talking exclusively to MUTV and revealed that Adnan Januzaj picked up an injury in midweek and is set to miss Sunday’s game at Swansea City,” United said in their blog United Today.

Meanwhile, his compatriot Marouane Fellaini is in contention for selection after missing the opening three matches of the season due to suspension for the red card he received in the final match of the last season against Hull City.
Ander Herrera was promoted higher up the pitch after Januzaj was replaced against Brugge. The Spanish midfielder could start in the No 10 role against Swansea on Sunday.
