Arsenal are interested in signing Domenico Berardi who is currently on the books of Sassuolo, according to reports.
The 27-year-old has been earning rave reviews for his performances in Serie A this season.
He missed the first two matches of the current campaign due to injury but then started all the subsequent matches for the Italian outfit.
So far, he has clocked up ten Serie A matches, scoring five goals and creating three assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
According to reputed journalist Nicolo Schira, Arsenal are plotting a move for the Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi.
However, they are expected to face competition for the 27-year-old’s signature as Fiorentina are also keen on him.
Berardi is a highly talented player who can be deployed in several offensive positions across the pitch. His favourite position is on the right-wing but he can also be used as a striker or as a supporting forward.
He is known for his tactical intelligence, decision making and movement.
The Italy international is capable of shining at the Emirates Stadium but it remains to be seen whether the Premier League side can secure a deal for him.
