Horse Racing Betting Tips for Wednesday November 3rd

MUSSELBURGH RACECARD No.1s

There are negatives against plenty of the RACECARD No.1s at Musselburgh today and the market could be worth selling. COUSIN OSCAR (12.50) is reverting from fences and has lost on both previous occasions he switched back to hurdles from the larger obstacles. SHAWS BRIDGE has a lot of weight to carry in the 1.20 and is running over fences for the first time and GOUET DES BRUYERES (2.20) would prefer faster ground. The SpreadEx market is currently set at 46-49.

Recommendation: Sell RACECARD No.1s at Musselburgh

NOTTINGHAM 2.10

MY NAME’S HOWARD is a very speculative selection but is priced accordingly and he could improve now that he makes his handicap debut. He finished last of six when 40-1 for a Brighton maiden last time but travelled well in the centre of the track (not the place to be) and raced prominently into the headwind. He also acquitted himself well at Ffos Las the time before, finishing a 200-1 fifth of ten. At 33-1 in the SpreadEx fixed odds market, we don’t have to have much on in order to win a few quid.

Recommendation: Back MY NAME’S HOWARD in Nottingham 2.10

NOTTINGHAM 4.10

SANDYMAN’s trainer Mick Appleby has plenty of ‘previous’ in this 1m2f amateur riders’ handicap, winning it three years on the bounce from 2016 to 2018. Sandyman ran a cracking race over course and distance last time out, finishing second at 18-1 and doing best of those to come from off the pace in a race in which it paid to be prominent. Prince Of Harts, seven lengths back in fifth place and second best of those ridden patiently, gave the form a boost when runner-up at Newmarket next time. He was 11-4 with in the SpeadEx fixed odds betting at the time of writing.

Recommendation: Back SANDYMAN in Nottingham 4.10
