Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has given a long and detailed interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais where he shares inside info about United dressing room and the players.
Herrera says United skipper Wayne Rooney loves boxing (cough!) but he would rather converse with him on football related issues.
Ander: “Rooney is outgoing and insults us in Spanish. I’d rather talk to him about football because he likes boxing and could try with me.”

The Spanish midfielder says Michael Carrick is a very serious guy and doesn’t talk much. He describes as a leader borrowing quote from is previous manager Marcelo Bielsa.
Ander: “Carrick’s very serious, but suits another quote by Bielsa: Leaders don’t need to speak much, but you listen to them when they speak”

The 25-year-old also adds that amidst a light hearted dressing room, all the player have utmost respect for Rooney and Carrick, but says it used to be different before in presence of senior players like Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
Herrera adds that Ashley Young keeps the dressing room lively with his jokes, and describes the Spanish guys also make joke about cliches from their own countries.
