The agent of France international Paul Pogba has revealed the midfielder will leave Juventus by the end of the next season.
The 21-year-old left Manchester United on a free transfer and joined the Italian champions in 2012 and since then has grown into becoming one of the coveted midfielders in the world. His form for the Old Lady has seen him attract interest from top clubs across Europe.
United are looking to re-sign Pogba, while Louis van Gaal’s side will face competition from Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, who are all interested in signing him.
Pogba’s representative Mino Raiola claims his client will leave only if the potential buyers will pay over €100m for his signature.
“His contract renewal was an easy decision. Not signing a new deal would have created a problem for Juventus and a weakness for Paul,” Raiola told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I want the club that buys him to believe in him and be willing to pay for him. If Paul leaves Juventus, it is for the absolute top. If it does not happen this year, it will be next year.
“Paul is at the same level economically as the other big stars and has a similar reputation, so he could stay for another year.
“But Paul is the only major star who is available at the end of the season. If you cannot take Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi or Zlatan Ibrahimovic, you can only go for Paul.
“If someone wants him, the market situation could see him go for more than €100 million (£74m),” Pogba’s agent said.
Meanwhile, the Frenchman has admitted that he still loves United, meaning an Old Trafford return in the summer could be on the cards. The Red Devils will face tough competition from English clubs and also European giants in securing Pogba’s services.
