Tottenham Hotspur’s Ryan Sessegnon could be available to face Leeds United on Sunday, according to reports.

The 21-year-old has been out of action since he suffered a hamstring injury while away on international duty with England’s U21s in September.

He was part of the pre-season squad under previous manager Nuno Espirito Santo and played the two matches against Pacos de Ferreira in the UEFA Conference League.

However, the talented left-back didn’t feature at all under the Portuguese boss in the English top-flight.

Now as per Sky Sports, Sessegnon will return to full training this week and could be available for Spurs’ upcoming match against Leeds United.

The English footballer joined the Lilywhites in the summer of 2019 in a deal worth £25 million from Fulham.

However, he struggled for game time in his first season in London and was sent on loan to Hoffenheim for the 2020-21 campaign.

The 21-year-old clocked up 23 Bundesliga appearances for the German outfit, scoring two goals and creating three assists in the process.

He was hoping to reignite his Tottenham career this season but the hamstring injury kept him sidelined for a couple of months.

Sessegnon hasn’t realised his full potential at Spurs since he made the move from Fulham in 2019.

Since his arrival at the Lilywhites, he has clocked up only 14 appearances across all competitions, with only a goal and an assist to his name.

However, things could change for the better for the left-back under new boss Antonio Conte.
