Italian giants Juventus are looking to sign the Manchester United right-back Matteo Darmian.

The former Torino full-back has failed to impress at Old Trafford so far and it seems that Juventus are prepared to offer him an escape route.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus sporting director Marotta is flying into Manchester to initiate talks for Darmian.

The player has struggled to replicate his form from Serie A due to injuries and rotation.

Juventus are looking to capitalise on his situation at Old Trafford and are well underway with their plan to lure an unhappy player into their club for a bargain.

Marotta is expected to speak to United soon and will propose a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

According to the report, Juventus are willing to pay 15 million euros for the Italian defender in the summer.

It will be interesting to see if Louis Van Gaal sanctions a sale considering the fact that United are already out of their depth in the defensive department and have had to field a makeshift back four quite often this season.
