Manchester United are reportedly plotting a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to James Ducker of The Times.
The Red Devils are desperate to land a top striker in the simmer, with Louis van Gaal keen to address his side’s goal scoring problems.
With Radamel Falcao, Robin van Persie, and Javier Hernandez all facing an uncertain future, it seems like Kane has emerged as United’s main transfer target for next season.
The prolific striker has enjoyed a sensational season, where he scored 30 goals in 47 appearances and also made his mark at the International stage with England in some style.
The report suggest United would be willing to put in an offer of 40m for the 21-year-old and although he is far from the finished product, he has all the potentials to become a world class striker in future. We take a look at some of the reactions from football fans about United’s interest in Kane.
What we’re doing is bidding for random players, if accepted then good for us. If not then bad for them. #Kane #Koke #Bale #Cavani #mufc

Remember when £45m bought you Zidane and not just a striker from the East End with one good season to his name? #Kane #mufc #soccernomics

Would not be too many players to do what he’s done this season at his age and not back it up. #kane #MUFC

#Kane for 40-45m !? You having a laugh! Typical #english players overpriced as usual! Go for #benteke! Proven goalscorer in the #EPL #MUFC

I’d take #Kane in a heartbeat, even for 40mil. Very young, proven in the league, and better than all our current strikers. #MUFC

It’s true that #Rooney is struggling upfront crying for a lethal striking partner. #Kane could fix the problem though !!! #MUFC

If #LVG signs #Kane then all faith I had in the boss will have disappeared faster than Andrew Strauss’ credibility! #MUFC
