New Manchester United signing Angel Di Maria will wear the iconic No 7, the club confirmed on Thursday.
The 20-time English champions had organised a special press conference for the unveiling of the Argentine international as United player. Louis van Gaal’s side signed the winger from Real Madrid for a British record transfer fee of £59.7m on Tuesday.
Di Maria could make his debut for United during their weekend Premier League fixture against Burnley on Saturday.
