Manchester United and Real Madrid target Paul Pogba has claimed that it pleases him to be on the wishlist of other clubs who are interested in his services in the summer.
The French international has attracted interests all over Europe with his dazzling performances this season for Juventus as the Old Lady are closing on their third successive Serie A title this season.
The 21 year old said, “It makes me happy that the fans sing, ‘Don’t sell Pogba’,” he told Sky Sport Italia. It gives me so much of a buzz when I go on to the field. It gives me an even greater desire to improve myself, so I’m grateful to the fans for their songs.”
“I’m very content to make them happy. At the moment, though, my only concern is the present and what’s happening now. I’ve not spoken with anyone, neither about my future or my contract. Sure, it pleases me to know that that other clubs want me, but I repeat – I’m thinking only thinking about what happens on the pitch and winning the Scudetto.”
Manchester United are mathematically out for Champions League football next season after losing 2-0 to Everton on Sunday at Goodison Park. It is believed that United boss David Moyes needs the club’s former player back at Old Trafford. Pogba fits the bill perfectly in the Scot’s side, capable of pulling the strings in midfield and driving the team on with his engine-esque ability.
Pogba has scored 8 goals and mustered up 7 assists in 39 appearances this season in the Serie A. Juventus definitely want to keep the powerful 21 year old but reports claim that United are willing to pay his price tag which is suggested to be around €60m.
Earlier Juventus Goalkeeper and Legend Gianlugi Buffon praised his team mate saying Pogba is a force of nature but maintained that the Turin outfit might be forced to sell their prized asset who has a contract at the club till 2016.
“Paul is a natural talent. There’s no arguing about that. He is a true force of nature. He has surprised everyone. He has just exploded and didn’t need much time for it. We all understood within two months or so that he was a huge talent and that we were talking about a great player. ”
“But in a difficult economic situation like this, you have to take a lot of things into consideration if a big offer comes in. But I would like to stress that the directors and the president have always made the right choices and will do the same in this case.”
Reigning Ligue One champions Paris Saint Germain are also believed to be interested in the Frenchman.
