Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates this evening, with both sides eager to get back to winning ways after a disastrous weekend of results.
Arsenal were taken apart by a vibrant Liverpool side at Anfield on Saturday, with Brendan Rodgers’ side coming out 5-1 winners.
Arsene Wenger will be hoping for a quick and impressive response from his side, who could return to the top of the Premier League with a win against their eternal rivals, following Chelsea’s draw with West Brom yesterday, and with Manchester City’s match against Sunderland tonight being called off.
Manchester United’s league struggles continued with a limp 2-2 draw against Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday, and a defeat today could see them fall 12 points behind Liverpool in the race for fourth before the week is out.
