Arsenal have been without silverware for eight years now but have a great opportunity to win the FA Cup as they take on Hull City in the final at Wembley later this month.

It was believed that French giants Paris St Germain would lure him back to his homeland but the Frenchman gave the clearest indication that he will sign a new contract at the Emirates.

However, Wenger has expressed his desire to work in Germany. Wenger told French radio station beinSport:

“If I was to go somewhere then I think it would be in a different country because I am so much Arsenal that I would not like to coach anywhere else in England. Germany is an option as I am fond of German culture a little bit and it’s a country where I have never worked and I am very close to it.”

Wenger has brought in increasing number of German players to Arsenal with the likes of Podolski, Mertesacker and Ozil being integral members of the squad. The Arsenal boss also revealed that he had a chance to sign Eden Hazard before Chelsea in 2012 but the Gunners were incapable to paying a hefty fee for the dazzling Belgian.
