Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has told Nuno Espirito Santo that Harry Kane will not be sold this summer unless an ‘extraordinary’ offer comes in for the striker, according to the Daily Mail.

The 27-year-old is widely considered to be one of the best out and out strikers in world football alongside the likes of Bayern Munich ace Robert Lewandowski and Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut Haaland.

Kane’s goalscoring record for Tottenham is simply breathtaking, with the England international bagging 221 goals in 336 games for the club.

He is adored by Tottenham Hotspur fans, and it was understandable why they were upset when the news broke that he could be leaving north London this summer.

However, they may have been handed a reprieve.

Kane to stay at Tottenham, Nuno told

The Daily Mail reckon that Levy has told Nuno that Kane will not be sold.

That comes with the caveat that he could be moved on if Manchester City make a whopping £150 million bid for him – but nothing less than that amount.

On that basis, it’s fairly safe to say that Harry Kane will be staying put.

That is great news for Nuno, with the Portuguese having been tasked with getting Spurs back to their former glories.

However, whether Kane will push for a move remains to be seen. He’s set to turn 28 at the end of this month.

If the striker is ambitious to win trophies, he may well be keen to join his old mate Kyle Walker at City.

It seems as though Levy is determined to keep him in north London, and an exciting summer transfer window is in store, that’s for sure!
