Di Maria transfer will be a bitter blow for United, who signed him for 59 million pounds from Real Madrid last summer. However, the Argentine failed to settle at Old Trafford and has now left the club in search for a new adventure and a fresh start at PSG. Van Gaal stated his desire to keep the player earlier, but Di Maria’s lack of commitment towards the club has forced his hand and the Dutchman will now look to secure the services of Barcelona attacker, Pedro, as a replacement.
According to sources in England and Spain, United have agreed personal terms with Pedro but are yet to agree a fee with Barcelona. Spanish journalist, Guillem Balague believes that the transfer will happen, but neither club are in a hurry.

Although the Di Maria transfer has been disappointing saga for United and the fans, it is time to move on and look forward to better things in future. Angel Di Maria had a message for the United fans after completing his PSG move.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the high profile sale.
Di Maria Transfer: Twitter reaction
Au revoir, Di Maria. He was mystifyingly poor after an impressive start at #MUFC … and yet selling him seems like such a waste of talent — Oliver Kay (@OliverKayTimes) August 6, 2015
We had bigger players leave and we moved right along. Don’t want players who don’t want to play for the shirt. #mufc https://t.co/z5PVIPHW83 — Quality MUFC Videos (@aditya_reds) August 6, 2015
What a strange United career that was for Di Maria. Superb for the first 6 or so games, looked amazing, then wasted away into nothingness. — MUFC Peoples Person (@PeoplesPerson_) August 6, 2015
