Mkhitaryan is Jose Mourinho’s third signing after Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The fee is thought to be in the region of 40 million Euros. The player had 12 months left on his Dortmund contract and refused to sign an extension in order to complete his dream move to Old Trafford.
The attacking midfielder scored 19 goals and picked up 25 assists last season for the German outfit.
According to reports, the player arrived in Manchester yesterday afternoon.
Jose Mourinho is now expected to press ahead with moves for his other targets. The Old Trafford giants are looking to sign a midfielder this summer and have submitted an offer for the Marseille star Lassana Diarra.
The likes of Paul Pogba and Andre Gomes have been linked with a move to Manchester United as well.
