Valencia midfielder Seydou Keita seared his name into the La Liga history books last night after scoring the quickest goal in the history of the Spanish top flight.
Capitalising on opponents Almeria’s hesitancy at the back, former Barcelona man Keita intercepted a horror back-pass to score after only 7 seconds into the La Liga match on Thursday evening.
While the Malian international may have given his side the best possible start, Almeria battled back to draw 2-2, with Keita hobbling off with a knee injury to be replaced by Chelsea loanee Orel Romeu just before the break.
The game will always be remembered for that opening goal however, which you can see just below. Don’t blink!
