One of the much debated topic came out from Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat to Southampton at Old Trafford was why Radamel Falcao wasn’t even selected in the team squad, not to talk about first XI?
Louis van Gaal confirmed after the match that Falcao wasn’t injured and that the Colombian wasn’t selected for tactical reasons.
His exclusion didn’t go well with some of United fans, and especially with former Newcastle United striker Faustino Asprilla, who posted some angry tweets, aimed at the United boss.
Popular website 101 Great Goals brought this to our attention, where they claim “Asprilla’s Twitter rant were claims that Van Gaal has racial issues, LVG was compared to Sloth from the Goonies, while Toni voiced his belief that Falcao is the only reason to watch Man United games.”
