Fresh from their high of topping their Champions League group first time of asking, Tottenham Hotspur welcome defending Premier League champions Chelsea to White Hart Lane. Chelsea are seeking their 2nd win in 7 games and captain John Terry has publicly called on his teammates to either step up or forget about their title defence.
Tottenham will look at this as an ideal time to play Chelsea and also to stake their claim as genuine Premier League title contenders – a win here would see them right in the mix of a 5-team title race alongside Sunday’s opponents Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United (the latter two squaring off on Monday night).
