This could be the final season for Manchester United left back Patrice Evra at Old Trafford. According to reports in France, the defender is giving serious thoughts about leaving the Red Devils at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old joined Manchester United in 2006 from Monaco and has been the first choice left back ever since, making 340 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League champions.
However, as per reports from Le 10 Sport, Evra is considering leaving the club in order to take a fresh challenge at the end of the season and is eyeing a return to his native France with Paris Saint-Germain could be the possible destination.
Evra’s future has been speculated in the media this summer but United were not interested in losing one of the prized assets. New manager David Moyes was keen to bring in another left-back, with Leighton Baines and Fabio Coentrao were heavily linked with a move. United even reportedly tried to sign Coentrao on loan in the transfer deadline day but the deal never materialized.
Although Evra has said nothing about his future but his departure from Old Trafford will be more likely, should Moyes land any top left-back in the January window or next summer.
