Manchester United face German giants Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League Group stage opening match at Old Trafford tonight.
New signing Marouane Fellaini has been given the starting line-up berth, after impressing in the weekend coming on as a sub, while Japanese star Shinji Kagawa is also included in the first eleven. In the strike department, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie continues to form their dazzling partnership while Chris Smalling will play at the right-back.
Manchester United legend Gary Pallister said: “I’m expecting us to get a victory, but it won’t be easy. Leverkusen are a decent team.”
