According to MARCA, Real Madrid have enquired about Chelsea full back Filipe Luis.
The Brazilian full back enjoyed a stop start season with the Blues, since his move from Vicente Calderon and is willing to return to Spain this summer.
It is believed that new manager Rafa Benitez is a keen admirer of the defensive full back and is willing to offer him a way out.
However, according to Marca, Luis will only consider a move back to Spain with Atleti. The report suggests that Luis has rebuffed an enquiry from Real Madrid and will never consider a move to the Bernabeu because of the respect and love he has for Atletico Madrid.
Luis has been a second choice left back for Jose Mourinho, who clearly prefers Spanish full back Cesar Azpilicueta. It is almost certain that Luis will be used as a rotation option next season as well. In such a scenario, it will be interesting to see if Filipe Luis changes his mind regarding a move to the Spanish capital in rival colours.
Luis is thought to be have plenty of suitors in Spain and Portugal, but the former Atletico Madrid left back is only keen to return to Madrid with Atleti.
Given the lack of interest from his former club, it is assumed that the Brazilian will continue at Chelsea next season, as Mourinho prepares to defend the title and push for the Champions league.
