Napoli manager Rafael Benitez’ agent has confirmed that the Spaniard will manage a new team next season.

The Champions League winner has been linked with Newcastle, following Pardew’s departure. However speculation is rife that the former Liverpool boss could return to Anfield.
Benitez’ agent has already revealed an offer to manage the Peru national team. However the Spaniard is not interested in international football and will continue to work at club level.
‘In Peru, they can forget about Benitez,’ his agent Manuel Garcia Quilon said. ‘He will not be a national coach but will coach at another club.’
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been under immense pressure following Liverpool’s poor start to the season. According to reports in the media, the northern Irishman could be on borrowed time unless there is a drastic upturn in form.
Rafael Benitez has always been a crowd favorite at Anfield, having won several trophies with the Merseyside outfit, including a fifth Champions League trophy.
Whether Benitez returns to the Premier League remains to be seen, but a move to Liverpool could prove to be beneficial for all parties involved.
