Radamel Falcao has hinted that he could leave Manchester United in the summer in search of more game time. The Colombian who is on loan from Monaco for a season has hardly made an impact for the Old Trafford side. The 29 year old has scored 6 goals and grabbed 4 assists in 22 appearances this term and of late he has been on the bench rather than getting enough playing time on the pitch.
Falaco was quoted by Guardian as saying to Radio Caracol, “Obviously I need to find a place where I have continuity and can play.“
The striker who is in Bahrain where Colombia play a friendly on Thursday however was quick to claim that he is fully committed to the club, “I think any footballer needs to play and is happy playing. I’m totally committed to the club, there are eight matches to go [in the Premier League] and anything can happen.”
United had earlier paid £6m to Monaco for Falcao’s services on loan for one season but it is highly unlikely that they will splash a further £44m to secure him permanently at the end of the season. Falaco said, “So when the championship ends. I’ll sit down, do an analysis and decide what’s best for me.”
